In the following example, I'll show you how to get a reduced price .com domain with GoDaddy - every time you buy one. The GoDaddy code we'll be using is EMMA412. This process can be followed for most Go Daddy coupons - including the limited-time codes released by Go Daddy from time-to-time. I've added one (1) .com domain to my cart - if you have more than one domain in your cart, the discount will be applied to each and every new .com domain you buy. All prices and savings quoted in the walkthrough are correct at the time or writing. Let's get started!

Firstly, make sure you're looking at your Go Daddy cart. Without any coupons, the price of a single .com domain (which has an identifying SKU of 101-1) is $10.69, plus the ICANN fee. The cart indicates the 'normal' price for a .com is actually $11.44, but I've never been charged that amount, so ignore it. So, we start with the default, flat-rate price for a single domain:

The coupon discount takes place in the box tagged "Enter your promo or source code:" - it's near the bottom of the cart page and can be found by looking for the orange blob:

Type (or copy & paste) your chosen Go Daddy promo code into the white text box to the left of the orange blob:

Click "Apply Code" when you've put your code in the box, and the Go Daddy website will process it. Your discount may or may not be explained in the yellow box at the bottom.
