One of these days Pete might upload some of his holiday photos. He took far more than I did, as I was concentrating on things of a plant nature and didn’t always bother to get my camera out for scenery.
Those of you of a geeky persuasion will appreciate the find we made in Tallinn (Estonia). Rather than heading off to the tourist attractions in the old town, we set off in the other direction to find something more modern. And we came across a stonking Crumpler store, where we felt compelled to do a bit of shopping.
Since we were both wearing Crumpler rucksacks, the sales assistant left us to ourselves, but when it came time to pay it turned out that he was a) a very nice chap and b) spoke perfect English. He even understood why I laughed when the till receipt said EEK (which denotes the currency, the Estonian Krone).
While I was trying to find the web address for the store this morning I was amused to find that Crumpler Tallinn tweets, although it’s not going to be very enlightening unless you speak Estonian.
